The trouble with flannel is that it has the tendency to look dowdy unless styled correctly. To give it a little sass I paired it with my fave L+F denim skirt; definitely flirtier than your basic jeans. I wore this to dinner the other night with a few blogger friends and, of course, the outfit question of the night was "are those heels comfy?" My answer: pain is beauty (sometimes). While gorgeous, these Jimmy Choos are not for those who a) have trouble walking in heels or b) have sensitive feet. Aka they hurt a bit. #shoetruth
