Wine Country is My Favorite Country

Last weekend's Wine Country getaway was definitely one for the books!  Wine Country Colbert Group and The Stylist LA hosted myself, Lauren Bushnell, Amanda Stanton, Sarah Vendal, and Erika from Whiskey and Lace at the most INSANE house. There's nothing like a weekend filled with delicious food, ALL the wines, and new friends. Keep scrolling to get all the deets on our weekend including wineries, places to eat + drink in Healdsburg, what we wore, and a few amazing people I met over the weekend!

Do you like our next album cover? Hah! This was taken at MacRostie Winery which was our first winery on Saturday. They do all their tastings at tables vs. going up to a bar area which I love; so much more intimate! Healdsburg can get REALLY hot, so I would suggest doing inside tastings if you have the opportunity. They have a very limited Rosé that is to DIE for and we also had an amazing Pinot Noir pairing with truffle brie cheese.

From there we headed to Ferrari Carano which is where they make my parents favorites wine! I was so excited to visit to buy them a few bottles. The grounds are absolutely stunning - feels like Italy and the their hospitality is 5 star. They treated us to a private tasting room and ALL the wines. I legit think we were there for 3 hours - hahah!

The best decision we made was getting a party bus from Pure Luxury Transportation for the entire day. Our driver Jr. was so hilarious and fun -  he put up with our drunken silliness for 10 hours; literally a saint.

After our boozy day we went to dinner at Willi's Seafood and Raw Bar on the main street in Healdsburg and it was so yum. I suggest the ceviche, king crab legs, crab legs, and lobster rolls. They also made us some delish espresso martinis because we were all a little sleepy from our day of wine tasting. It did the trick because afterwards we ended up at Spoonbar for after dinner cocktails. Legit don't know how we were able to keep drinking but we did and I'm pretty sure we all ended up getting the Rosemary Marg there. Wine, vodka, tequila... safe to say we had a silly evening once Jr. took us home. If you saw on IG story then you know Sarah and I taste tested 15 Halo Top flavors!

Airbnb in Sonoma - Bella Vista

For the rest of the weekend we vegged out at the house, had a private chef come (more on that below), and continued to drink all the wine! Can we talk about this pool situation? The Bella Vista Sonoma is available on Airbnb and I would highly recommend it for a large group trip to wine country. It fits 6 comfortably and is absolutely stunning!

Wine Country Colbert Group really hit it out of the park with our food ALL weekend. Besides our stop at Willi's, we had dinner at John Ash & Co. At the Vintners Inn which is a great spot for groups - the gals and I ended up sharing a few entrees. Every morning we had breakfast at the house from The Pharmacy Sonoma County  - you guys, I've never had better eggs or bacon in my ENTIRE life. They have this amazing breakfast sandwich that comes on the softest bread roll I have ever had... I woke up yesterday craving one like whoah.

For dinner on Sunday night we had Food La La (Lindsay) come and make dinner. a) She's the cutest human I've ever met (and a fellow Trojan!!) b) She's beyond talented, so much so that I told her I would fly her to LA to teach me and Andy how to cook! You know when you just meet someone and VIBE? Meeting Lindsay was totally that. She also shares my love of travel which made me love her even more. She made us the most beautiful and delicious prosciutto and burrata plate, heirloom tomatoes, and colorful tacos that were just out of this world yummy. Dinner was paired with a few different wines curated by Wine + Moxxi and we dined al fresco on a stunning tablescape styled by Chrissy from Harlow James.

It was such a fun weekend - take me back! I was also lucky enough to room with Sarah, who again, I just VIBED with. We hung out last night in Dallas and it felt like we'd been friends forever - and may have convinced our waiter that we'd been besties since childhood! Life is pretty cool in that way.

We wore The Stylist LA ALL weekend - you can rent the wine weekend selection here. Scroll down to shop my accessories.

Currently drinking all the wines on a 9hr flight to Rome! Can't wait to explore some new places in Europe for the next month. Lots of travel posts to come, of course. And make sure to follow along on IG for the latest and greatest.

If you guys have any Qs about wine country you know where to find me. Also Erika lives there so she's a pretty great resource too!
