Travel Beauty Guide

Happy hump day, friends! How is everyone's week going? I'm currently sailing through Europe -  woke up in Monaco to be exact and let me tell you, this has been one incredible experience. I hope you've been following along on Insta Story >> @everydaypursuits

As you may have noticed, these last few months have been insane (in a good way) but I think I can officially call myself an expert traveler and can probably get around LAX with my eyes closed. Bouncing from suitcase to suitcase and city to city, you quickly become well versed in tips and tricks of packing, the must-haves... not tryin' to carry unneeded items around for a month. Plus, that leaves more room for new finds (obvi).

Today, I'm sharing my must-have travel beauty products. Scroll down for deets on why I can't leave home without 'em.

We all know that feeling after getting off an airplane and out of the airport - get me a shower NOW. These 8 items are definitely essentials to feeling fresh and also cover all areas to somewhat keeping up a good routine while you're away. Let's start with Drybar, one of my all time favorites. This fold up travel blowdryer is definitely a must, you never know these days which hotel or Airbnb will provide one (a good one? never!), especially when you're going international... and their 3 in 1 texturizing spray LIFE CHANGING. Don't feel like showering and re-doing your hair completely? Spray this in and your hair will look as good as new, and it smells amazing. Added bonus.

As you already know, Clinique is another go-to for me so this travel facial soap is always in my suitcase. It's too risky to use soaps on my face that the hotel provides (hello, breakouts!).  This one is small enough to pack in a carry-on and a little drop goes a long way.

Have any of you tried Sugargoop products? I am loving their setting mist and lip screen while exploring Europe. Walking around outside all day definitely requires sunscreen and it's easy to forget about your lips! This one gives a little shine and protects at the same time, winning!

Let's not forget about moisturizing your skin while you're away (key when spending days in the sun) -  Kiehls is always a great brand, you can never go wrong with their skincare. Being gone for a month means that PMS skin is destined to happen (can't you apply for vacation on zits?!), so I always pack my mini drying bottle of Mario Badescu for those unwanted blemishes that pop up.

Stay tuned, next week I'm sharing more of my pre + post sun skin essentials. After getting stupidly burned in Haiti I'm taking sun protection V seriously this trip!
