30 Gift Ideas for Parents + In-Laws
This is probably my most requested gift guide aside from “your guy” because, let’s be real, parents have ALL THE THINGS. So I racked my brain to come up with a mix of unique + thoughtful gifts plus some cool things that dads will totally eat up.
Artifact Uprising Photobooks: gorge photobooks are the new coffee table books! Great option for your parents if you’ve recently gotten married or had a baby. We made one for my grandparents last year with our wedding photos and they LOVED. Andy and I actually started a tradition of doing one every year to recap the year in images. If you’re looking for frames + prints they also have so many options.
Bouqs Subscription: this is a monthly flower subscription that my mom LOVES. I got it for her for Mother’s Day a few years ago and it’s seriously the gift that keeps on giving. She texts me every month when they arrive to say how it’s the best surprise!
Wine subscription: if your parents are anything like mine, they love their wine. If they’re already wine club members why not take over their subscription for 2021? It’s something they’ll remember with each sip and really appreciate.
TECH: part of being the hip, in-the-know child is making sure your parents keep up with the latest tech trends, right? There’s so many great things out there: AMAZON Alexa, GOOGLE home, NEST, RING, and even Airpods that can seriously make your parents’ life so much easier (and maybe yours too!). Last year we got my parents an Amazon Alexa and they love it!

Some other thoughtful ideas:
If your parents are retired and like to read Kindles and books are also great ideas. Love the idea of buying a Kindle and stocking it with 5-10 books for mom or dad.
If you can swing it, I also love putting together experience packages for my parents:
Restaurant Gift cards + a bottle of wine
Hollywood Bowl tickets or tickets to see their favorite musician in concert
Sporting event tickets
It always gives them something to look forward to and creates long lasting memories. Looking for more “experience” ideas? Head to my gift guide of meaningful experiences - which also has some cute "COVID” safe experience ideas.
Hope this helps pull you out of the parent gifting stupor! xx - Ashley
