What We LOVED: Top 5 Posts of 2018
Continuing the 2018 look back of sorts (see the 10 most purchased items of 2018 here) with the top five posts of the year! 2018 was an incredible year for me, life moments wise… we got married! And with that came all the fun of wedding prep and pre-wedding events (which I loved sharing with you!) , so it’s no surprise that the majority of the top five posts of the year are wedding related:
1.Epic Palm Springs Bachelorette Party
Aside from my wedding, this was the best weekend of my life! My best friends came together to throw me an epic birthday/bachelorette party in Palm Springs. The theme was Troop Palm Springs after the 1989 movie. There were custom sweatshirts, man servants, themed cocktails, floaties, all the things! If you’re planning a Palm Springs bach then this post includes our weekend itinerary and pretty much all the details that made it happen. Note: the house we rented is no longer on Airbnb.
2. We’re Married
The best weekend of my life! I put this post together at the airport on the way home from our wedding weekend - it has a few sneak peeks from our wedding and some initial thoughts/feels from the weekend. I would do anything to go back; it went by SO fast. We are actually celebrating our one year in a few months at ACRE again - counting down the days.
3. If You go anywhere in 2018, Go to Haiti!
With two Kin Travel Haiti trips under my belt, I can truly say it’s one of the most beautiful destinations I’ve ever been and experiencing it this way is nothing like you’d ever get going by yourself. They have a few trips coming up in February if you’re looking to adventure!
4. The Only One Piece You Need this Summer
The suit of the summer! And also the #1 purchased item in 2018 from the EDP fam. Here’s to hoping Aerie has some great suits in store for us this summer.
5. The Ultimate Wedding Day Playlist
Our wedding DJ was PHENOM! If you’re getting married around the Los Cabos area I can’t suggest him enough. Andy took the reigns on working with him to make sure people never left the dance floor during our reception. This post was a guest post from Andy sharing his top songs and suggestion for creating the ultimate wedding day playlist. It also has deets on all the specials song we played for our ceremony and first dances. You’ll never guess what our closing song of the night was….
