Last Minute Holiday Shopping
Happy Monday, friends! It's Christmas week... hurray! How's your Christmas shopping going? Over the weekend I managed to check off almost everyone on my list with a full day of shopping at
Santa Monica Place (did you see
my takeover on IG?) and of course, ended up with some new holiday shoes for myself (typical!)
Ever since moving to the westside, SM Place has become my one stop shop - they have the big retailers like Bloomies + Nordstrom and tons of great speciality shops like Ted Baker, Kate Spade, and The Kooples. Not to mention all the yummy eats! Anywho, see what I scooped up below + some tips/ideas for last minute gift shopping:
The Bloomingdales shoe department is fantabulous! Let's just say it's kind of my heaven. They have some great festive shoes for Christmas + NYE in case you're still looking. I ended up getting these Vince slip-ons which are going to be on heavy rotation come the new year.
While I was there I browsed their gift guide for some last minute stocking stuffer ideas. If you have a friends that are in to candles, Nest candles are the best; they smell amazing and last forever. Here are a few other great under $50 items, all of which can be ordered online + picked up in store!
After Bloomies I stopped by
Karen Millen to look for a few accessories for my bff. Of course, I stumbled on this insane camel coat:
Isn't she a beauty! Sadly, I didn't come home with her; it's hard to justify coat purchases when it's only cold in LA 1 month out of the year. You know what I mean? I did pick up these cute poofs for a few of my girlfriends (and one for me!)
After dragging myself away from the beautiful camel coat, I headed to Sole Society to find a bag for my mom. She's been wanting a black clutch and I knew Sole Society would be the stop. I mean look at this shoe + bag goodness:
I love Sole Society's price point - you can find really beautiful styles under $100 that look super luxe. Here are a few of my fave giftables:
Most are available in store + they're currently doing free 3 day shipping to make sure you get your goodies by Christmas! Speaking of goodies, somehow I walked out with a pair of shoes that I'll be rocking all this week!
All in all I would say it was a successful shopping day at Santa Monica Place! Got a few pairs of shoes for myself and tons of gifts for almost everyone on my list. If you're still looking for gift ideas, don't forget to check out my holiday gift guides: under $50 for him // under $50 for her // party gift guide. T -4 days... ahhh, you can do it!!
