We all need a Señorita Dress!

Every time I look at this dress I start singing JT's "Senorita, I feel for you... "  - do you hear it too? It's very rare that I want to look like an emoji IRL, however, this dress is an exception. Self Portrait put all the best details of the "dancing lady in a red dress" into this lace beauty and I'm feeling it.

I bought this dress on a whim last month when I realized three days before a cocktail attire wedding that I had NOTHING to wear. Thank the fashion gods for overnight shipping, am I right?

There are so many reasons to love this dress - I mean, the lace details are amazing! Aside from the lace, the high-neck and long sleeves are definitely a new twist on the typical cocktail dress. Self Portrait always does unexpected details (like this black one from earlier this year) which is why they're a great brand to go to for wedding guest and holiday dresses.

You may have seen this look on snapchat during that wedding weekend - one of my favorite parts was the lip! I'm wearing one of my 5  fave lippies for summer and the color of this lacquer perfectly matches the dress. Not sure if that's a fashion faux pas but I'm doing it anyway!

Let's talk about sizing: Self Portrait is Australian and always runs small. I'm a true 0 and honestly, should've gotten this dress in a size 2. Andy had to do some magical tricks to zip up this baby and I was doing some truly magical dance moves since I couldn't lift my arms past my shoulders!
