Let's be honest, if you're under 5'7" it's pretty much impossible to find a maxi that won't have you falling flat on your face. Also, for most casual cotton maxis it seems a little silly to get them tailored. That's when I say go for the knot; it saves you from making a fool of yourself and even shows of your shoes a bit! Wore this maxi dress for a weekend date with my sister and it was perfectly comfy and cool!
