Model Off-Duty Hair
While I didn't go to fashion week this year, I've been to my fair share of them in the past and one thing I can say is that I've never done my hair and makeup as many times in a 7-day period as I did at fashion week. The key to getting that model off-duty hair is the "I'm not really trying " look which somehow always has me trying extra hard to get it. Love how that works.
I've partnered with Unilever to share some of the product from
Tresemme's new runway collection
- I've been using them for over a month and have to say I absolutely love them!
Lately, I'm all about getting to the second or third day hair because yes, it's much better on your hair/scalp/etc. but also because I don't want to wash and blow-dry my hair every day (does that mean I'm lazy or just practical?!)!
After I shower, instead of blow drying my hair 100% I'll use
Tresemme's 'Max the Volume' cream
and only blow dry my roots and whatever else kind of dries along the way. Then I'll put my hair in a low bun and let it dry completely for volumized wavy hair day.
The second day is usually when I bust out my wand to create more defined waves. Before I take the wand to my hair I rub through a dime size of
which adds an overall silkiness and de-frizzes, but still defines waves and curls.
A little wand action and tah-dah! Btw, can't wait to share this makeup look with you next week. For a limited time if you buy
products, you'll get a $5 Target GiftCard.
My favorite part about creating second day waves is that they truly look model off-duty and give that "I just rolled out of bed and still look fabulous" vibe + with my new routine it isn't as hard anymore! Throw on a pair of sexy heels and a fun poncho and you have model off-duty written all over ya:
full outfit deets coming next week!
