Activewear Game Strong
There's nothing like a bunch of new activewear to get me in the mood to work on my fitness. Hey, I'm just being honest. And I know I'm not the only gal who is enticed to workout by a fab new pair of workout pants or sports bra! Enter: Lucy Activewear's Anniversary sale. For 2 days only (10.22-10.23) they're doing 30% off everything! We're talking really good stuff, you guys. Like the whole outfit I wore in yesterday's post and all these goodies below. Keep reading to see my faves and why I've fallen for their sports bras:

True story: I live in activewear. I work from home and on days when I don't have any meetings or dinner dates (ie: no one to impress - sorry, Andy), I'll put on "workout" clothes as my #ootd. Yes, even when I have no intention of going to the gym. From watching other's snaps, I know I'm not the only one who does this which makes me feel better! That being said, I've found that I'm newly activewear obsessed since it's what I wear more than anything.
When it comes to good pants/leggings, comfort is key. Oh and ensuring I'm camel toe free (sorry, but not sorry). Thank god most activewear these days has the correct crotch stitching but sometimes you never know what you're getting yourself in to! What I love about all of Lucy Activewear's pants
is they come mid to high rise, giving tummy support in just the right way. I don't want to feel restricted, like I can't breath when I sit down, but I also don't want my stomach rolling over the waist band of a pant either. The rise and the paneling on their pants is amazing! When I got my eyebrows done yesterday, my girl Connie was like "OMG what are those pants? Let me see the waist!" and when I lifted up my shirt she instantly said "I need these, like yesterday!" I'm telling you, they're that good. Some of their pants like the power train pocket pants
have side pockets for your phone which is a serious game changer both when going for a run and on busy days. I typically live with my iPhone in the back pocket of my jeans, so being able to have that capability when wearing comfy workout pants is perfection!
Let's talk about the sports bras. When I went in to Lucy's Santa Monica store to try on all their amazing gear, I fell in love the with the studio hatha sports bra. It's for low impact activities like my fave pilates and what really sold me is the adjustable straps and the extra support band under the bust. I don't have HUGE boobs but they are decently sized for my petite frame and finding a sports bra that can fit right tends to be hard. Additionally, my shoulder to boob measurement (what do you even call that?) is extra long. I basically have a super long torso (yay swimming for 10 years!), so everything waist up is farther a part from each other than the average bear. That means I NEED adjustable straps. Sports bras without adjustable straps sometimes won't even go over my boobs or if they do, they are SO tight on my shoulders that I'll get super tense shoulders half way through the workout.
Anywho - enough with my weird body proportion rant. The fact that these amazing activewear pieces are going to be 30% off is a win and I wanted to share. Lucy Activewear's Anniversary sale is for 2 days only (10.22-10.23) and they're doing 30% off everything! It's in-store and online, so there's no excuse not to try something.
