Adventures are Better in Pairs
For the past few years one of my big goals has been to travel more; big trips, local trips , and everything in between. Slowly and slowly I'm convincing Andy to jump on the adventure train. He's either really starting to dig traveling or realized if he didn't attempt to start liking it, I would be away traveling all the time and he would never see me. I'm going to go with the former.
A few weeks ago we took our first trip of 2017 to Catalina Island and it was better than I could've ever imagined, in part because we've both never spent any real time on the Island. There's something magical about experiencing a new place together for the first time! As we were planning our trip I was pretty adamant about a refined packing list
Andy will legit pack 2x more than I do sometimes. His excuse? "My shoes are bigger!" Anywho, we partnered with Hush Puppies on this trip to share the launch of their new spring line that is all about casual and carefree styles. They were the perfect shoes to get us through the weekend! During our trip I also may or may not have made Andy do a little q+a with me (on top of the one we did for Boxfox)! I know, girlfriend of the year award over here.

Ash: Yes, but NEVER in the workplace. I don't care how casual your office is... looking at you ANDY FISHER!

Andy: How do you feel about going to sleep before double digits on the clock?
Ash: Strictly forbidden... LIVE a little!

Andy: casual in jeans and a tee with no makeup
If you follow me on IG stories or snapchat, you know Andy and I are pretty laid back. These are typical weekend outfits for us, especially since we live by the beach. The Abney Chrissie sandal and his bold yahman slip-ons are perfect casual styles for us coastal kids!
