Ciao, Italy!
Hello from Italy! The trip I've been manifesting for a year is FINALLY here and I have to pinch myself that it's all really happening. My month long tour of Europe started in Rome a few days ago and for the next ten days I'm sailing on a Seabourn cruise with my family hitting Italy, Malta, France, and Spain. After that Andy is meeting me and we are spending two weeks traveling through Barcelona, Paris, Nice, and back to Rome! (Btw, thank you for all your DM's helping us plan the last half of the trip). For many of you wondering how the heck I can spend a month in Europe (hello, work!?!) I wrote a lot about that in my last travel post - in a nutshell 90% of my work lives on the interwebs so really this is all happening thanks to a stupidly expensive internet plan haha. And most importantly - YOU. Thank you for allowing me to share my life with you and following along on the adventure!
When it came to packing for a month I brought ALL THE THINGS (you can shop my suitcase here) including this Fame + Partners dress that I'm legit obsessed with:

Italy in the summer is HOT and humid; I would compare it to Miami or Dallas. For this trip I opted for mostly easy breezy dresses and shorts. Although this dress is a maxi the open back and slit make it very breathable - it was perfect for dinner along the Tiber river. My absolute FAVE thing about Fame + Partners is that everything is CUSTOM made. You pick your style and can customize a few parts PLUS the length. This is a game changer for us petite gals. As you add things to your cart, you input your height and all items arrive with that custom length. For us petite gals (I'm 5'3") this is a lifesaver! If I would've ordered a similar dress from anywhere else there's no doubt I would've had to get it hemmed and/or worn heels with it to make it work. (Heels in Rome are pretty much impossible unless you want to risk breaking an ankle). It was so nice to put this dress on and not worry about getting it altered. I bought a long skirt from them as well that I can't wait to share - it's amaze.
Let's talk about these Kaanas sandals - if you follow me on IG story then you're probably sick of hearing how much I love them. We walked almost 10 miles during our 3 days in Rome and not ONE blister. I mean, you guys, I was sweating so bad and certain there would be some rubbing, blisters, achy feet and NOTHING. Also it was my first time wearing them so they weren't "broken in" either. If they aren't magic, I don't know what is.
I'll be doing tons of Travel Diaries in the coming weeks, so stay tuned! Off to Sicily now for a fun day at the beach. Xo - Ash
