6 Beauty Must-Haves for Fun In the Sun
Happy Monday from Antibes! I gotta tell you, I think i'm becoming an expert in the travel beauty arena. Did you see my last post on travel must-haves? After my trip to Haiti in the hot, hot sun, cruising around the Mediterranean with the fam, and now beaching it in Antibes, I've definitely learned how important it is to take care of your skin... no matter what your base color may be. I don't typically burn but that doesn't mean I'm immune to sunspots, harmful aging sun rays, and god forbid skin cancer. Today, I'm giving you my favorite pre and post-sun products that will keep you protecting but also get you that bronzed goddess look for days when there's just no helping too much fun in the sun:

PRE-SUN
Let's start with the face: I talked about Supergoop in my last post, they are a must and have been my go-to for the last few weeks while traveling. I love their setting mist and lip protector, both 50spf - can't beat that! Typically I'm very picky about my face sunscreens because I breakout easily and after a month of using supergoop my skin has honestly been in amazing!
For body: my tried and true is Australian Gold's Instant Bronzer Spray Gel. Instead of laying out waiting for the sun to kiss you this gives you a hint of color right away while also protecting you. It's easy and affordable, definitely a no brainer. On long days in the sun I apply this OVER a regular sunscreen. I'm a Clinique girl and I love all their products -- this SPF 30 body mist is A-MAZ-ING. It's super light, not oily or sticky and of course smells delish. I've been putting this on daily before I head out and explore and don't even realize it's on. It also gives a beautiful glow!
POST-SUN
In terms of post-sun, it's just as important and pre. You don't want your skin getting dried out and dehydrated. The Phyto Corrective Gel rejuvenates and is an anti-inflammatory to soothe the skin after being out in the sun all day - it keeps everything looking clearer and brighter, that's a yes in my book. The Kopari Coconut Balm is great for any dryness you may have to help repair the skin after a sunburn. I didn't pack any body lotion on this trip and use this after every shower and every day in the sun.
