Luna's First Annual Pumpkin Painting Party

Luna’s first annual pumpkin decorating party went off without a hitch and I’m so excited about our new tradition. And let’s be honest, these toddler parties are also a great excuse to get the parents together for some festive cocktails and hangs. I had a lot of DM’s asking about the papier-mâché pumpkins + painting essentials, so figured I would put everything together in one post to reference for years to come. Keep scrolling for my Toddler Pumpkin Painting shopping list, Halloween Party activities, and the toddler friendly food I made for the kids.

I was a little nervous about the mess but honestly it wasn’t too bad. Most of the kids kept everything on the drop cloth and I had a big water bucket near by in case parents needed to do a quick clean.

For other activities: The babes LOVED the water table with the plastic spiders. If only I could be so easily amused - hah! And it was so simple to do with our existing Ikea Flisat table/bins, water, and plastic spiders. I also bought two of these mummy bowling sets from Target that the kids really enjoyed.

For toddler bites: I channeled some seasonal vibes with Solid Starts Pumpkin Penne + Oat + Quinoa Balls (both from their lunch guides) , and sweet potato fries. All were a hit and easy to make in bulk! How cute are these little toddler snack bowls?

It was such a blast and all the babes truly had such a fun time! As they get older we can definitely add some more pumpkin decorating items like eye balls, pipe cleaners, etc. But this basic set-up was perfect for the 10-24 month range. Happy Halloween, friends! xo - Ash
