My Husband Doesn't Wear Jeans, Here's His Guide to Comfort and Style

I wouldn’t call the hubs a style icon by any means, but he does know what he likes and always seems to find the right balance between comfort and style. That’s kind of goals, right? I had him send me a list of all of his core wardrobe faves from the perfect tee and everyday joggers, to the 5 pocket pants that are his alternative to jeans. Yup, you read that right. In the 10 yrs. I’ve know this man, he has never worn a pair of jeans! Keep scrolling for his guide to comfort and style without jeans as translated into a blog post by yours truly:

• Outerknown Sojourn Pocket Tee - I will give the man credit - all his clothes are incredibly soft. He loves this tee for the breathable fabric and the fit. But also has a bunch from Faherty, Buck Mason, and James Perse, too.

• Public Rec All Day Every Day Jogger - these have a more put-together look vs. the Vuori joggers we both love. In my opinion the Public Rec style is appropriate for going out, date night, and actually looking presentable in public whereas the Vuori ones are lounge or travel-day joggers.

• Corridor Overshirt - these are his new winter obsession!

• Buck Mason Trail Roam Short - I think my husband has every pair of these; they fit really nicely and fall at just the right length. He also went through a big Vuori phase and has a few pairs of their Bank + Kore shorts. Personally I love the Buck Mason ones, because they aren’t as sporty.

• Faherty Movement™ 5-Pocket Pant - These 5 pocket pants are great for guys who aren't into wearing jeans. They look great paired with everything (like jeans!) and are moisture-wicking, which is important if your man runs hot.

• Faherty Classic Board Short - a few requests came in for his favorite board shorts and honestly these are the only pair he owns. Primarily because apparently the Vuori Bank + Kore short also work as swim shorts? Not sure how accurate that is but I can vouch that he wears them often in the ocean and pool.

• Birkenstock Arizona Soft Slide Sandal - We all know how much Andy loves his Birkenstocks - like wears them even when it’s 50 degrees out, that’s how much he loves them. You can take the boy out of Miami but…

• Rothy’s The RS01 Sneaker - Men’s shoes say so much in so little time. Having a comfortable yet stylish go-to shoe is something I think every husband (and man in general) should have. These are walkable and focused on comfort without jeopardizing style.

Outside of these, he really only dives into “Tropi shirts” (tropical style button downs) when we are on vacation. And I get those from H+M. Ummm… has Andy created the ultimate cool guy capsule wardobe without even trying? Maybe we could all take some tips from him!
