Plaid x Leather Weather

The weather in LA LA land is cooling off and by cooling I mean 65 degrees (sorry East Coasters). This means it's time to break out the layers and, of course, throw in some festive tartan...

It's amazing how a little layering and a pair of casual booties can make an easy breezy outfit look oh-so put together! I've been wearing this Lovers + Friends button down non-stop, it may be take the place of my go-to chambray. Shhh... don't tell!

Let's talk about the most important part: the shoes. DSW sent over these Crown Vintage booties and they're just magical.  It's not everyday you find a pair of comfy, flattering, crowd-pleasing booties. My shoe closet had no idea it needed a pair of taupe booties until these babies came along.
