#PursuitgoestoNY: Day 1 of NYFW

True life: I'm getting old. The telling sign? When I had to swap out my comfy Zara heels for Yosi Samra flats mid Mara Hoffman show because I couldn't stand the pain on the balls of my feet from 3 days/nights of wearing heels. More on that later...

Last Thursday I hit the city running! I landed in the early AM hours, wearing my fave 'I woke up like this' shirt', and pretty much walked off the plane into the BCBG show at Lincoln Center. This season I opted for separates that can be added to the fall rotation. With fashion week, it's easy to fall prey to buying something new and fabulous that can literally never be worn IRL.

Grabbed this look at Zara right before I left; excited to pair this leather skirt with crop tops for fall and chunky knits in winter. En route to the show I attempted my best Eva Chen and the Lucky EIC even commented on my Insta! Let's just say that kicked off a fabulous Day 1 at NYFW.
