#TargetStyle: Real Talk Test Drive
Remember when you guys voted for me to style this piece? Well... besides a good black or white blazer, I’ve been out of the blazer game since I left the “corporate” world in 2009. Maybe you wear a blazer every day?! Well either way, today’s post with Target is all about taking a not-so-basic piece and test driving it for a day. Enter this plaid blazer:
Looking back, one of my least favorite things about working in the corporate world was the two different wardrobes: work and play. Back in the day I always tried to challenge myself to style a pencil skirt or button-up outside of work in order to get the most of out of the thousands I spent on suits and such. Now that I’ve taken this plaid blazer for a test drive, I love that it can easily go from work to happy hour with a change of pants! Or for myself, this can just be an everyday work outfit like it was yesterday. Are you into plaid as much as I am right now?
