#PursuingHealthyHair with L'Oreal

If you've been reading the blog for awhile then you know I've been pursuing healthy hair for what seems like forever. #thestruggleisreal And what I've found most recently is that A LOT of people are in pursuit of the exact same thing, especially my friends. Is it a mid-late twenties thing? Are we all so stressed out that our hair just refuses to grow? If anyone has the answer I'd love you forever. #truth

As I pursue new supplements and change up my eating habits I've also been testing out new products to give life to what hair I have left on my head. Recently L'Oreal reached out to me to ask if I wanted to try their new Advanced Haircare line + get out some of my current hair aggressions to which I immediately said yes! 

Dear Hair,

Do you realize the power you have over ones emotions and overall feeling of confidence? Nope, not sure you do. You used to be so thick and beautiful and now you're clinging on to my scalp for dear life. I'm sure it stinks to see all your friends on the bathroom floor. It's even worse for me because I have to clean them up.

What can I do to mend our relationship? It's true, I love you on day one and hate you on day three. I blast you with hot tools probably definitely more than I should. Sometimes I tie you up in tight top-knots.... okay, I get it, I could be nicer. Maybe I'll take up yoga to de-stress a bit? Pretty sure that would take some pressure off of you!

Let's make a pact and be beauty partners is this thing called life.

I've been using L'Oreal's Advanced Hair Care Volume Filler for over a week and have to say that I'm loving the results. Yesterday was my bff's engagement party (I'm the MOH!) and my hair looked fuller than it has in a really long time.  Granted, I'm still working on figuring out the root (pun intended!) of my overall hair issues but in the meantime this will be a good secondary fix to get fuller, thicker locks. 

As I get older, this really rings true: we ladies know that not all locks are created equal, and so does L’Oréal Paris. Beautiful hair has never been more personal. Personal is right! No one can tell you how you should and shouldn't feel when you're hair is a hot mess.
