Bikinis + Beaches: Amused

It's June... it's freakin' JUNE. How did this happen? The only thing keeping me from entirely freaking out is that it's my fave time of year: bikini season aka summer! I'm a beach girl and always have been (as noted by last week's instagram) and in honor of the official bikinis + beaches season, this week is dedicated to 5 of my fave swim brands and a plethora of fun swimsuits. We're talking one-pieces, high-waisted, itsy bitsy teeny weeny, and everything in between. There's so many options in the swim world now that there's a perfect style for everyone!

One brand that I've fallen hard for is Amuse Society. They launched last fall and are taking the swim/surf/lifestyle world by storm; think ultimate surfer girl glam!

The best part about this suit is definitely the high-waisted bottoms. Not sure about you but in the past I always connected the term "high-waisted" to old lady and unflattering. So bad and totally untrue! In fact, high-waisted anything is typically super sexy and ultra-flattering. Truth: high-waisted bikini bottoms are like built in spanx! #winning They also accentuate curves (in my mind this is a +) and give shape to those that don't necessarily have any. Let's just say I think you should try them!

This pair has the lace-up sides that give some extra wiggle room and allows for adjusting which is nice. Amuse has a similar style in a great floral print! In general I'm just loving the different styles Amuse is coming out with because they're unique, wearable (for REAL outdoor activities), and the price point is pretty amazing!
