Grey Booties FTW

Happy Monday! Back in LA after a quick trip to SF and I managed to hit holiday party #93582,  do some baking, and take Andy to try a pilates class this weekend. Ohh and I bought a new car! It was a busy one as I'm sure yours was too.

This time of year I always find myself doing a little shopping for myself as I'm checking everyone off my list. One for you, one for me... you know how it goes. During my recent pursuit of gifts on  Shoes.com I scooped up these Sam Edelman booties and let's just say they've been on heavy rotation! My fave thing about booties is that they're seasonless! Honestly, you can wear them year around as long as you change up your ensemble (case in point) which means pursuing them in neutral hues like grey, black, and brown are great style investments.

Love this look for a casual day of shopping or brunching with friends. This scarf is one of the best prints ever and goes with almost anything! Now that the weathers cooled down I carry it with me everywhere in case I need to layer up.

My current uniform: skirt, turtleneck, booties. There's something about the pairing that looks so chic and put together! A year ago I would've never touched a turtleneck but now I'm all about them; believe me, you don't need to have a model long neck to rock them!

My girlfriends always ask me "is it still okay to roll your denim?" And my answer: heck yes! Rolled denim looks great with boots, heels, flats... everything. I'm a big fan of the peek of ankle showing through. Also a big fan of winter white and grey combos! #justsaying
