New Year, New Shoes
Happy weekend friends! I've been caught up in "How to Make a Murder" all day and all I can say is ohh - emmm - geee. Have you watched it? Andy and I are about four episodes in and it's getting insane.
Anywho, this time of year always puts me in a style funk: holiday is over and winter is fully happening, but I'm not really willing to invest in any new winter pieces because spring is just around the corner; this goes for shoes too! With that in mind, I've put together a list of FAB shoes that are perfect for spring and will last you well through summer so you can start stocking next season's shoe closet early! {splendid jaylen sandal // topshop freya flat // urban outfitter d'orsay flats // loeffler randall dani sandal // alexandre birman clarita heels // madewell anais slide}
Eek, don't these get you excited to bring your toesies out for some sun! I'm really loving neutrals right now from footwear to clothes... even home goods (see my most recent purchase on IG). Come spring, we're going to continue to see lace-up flats, pointy toe flat trend, and slides... lots 'o slides!
I've always been particularly fond of the basic nude heel a la Alexandre Birman and I really enjoy the bow touch on this pair. When investing in expensive footwear, go the neutral route just to get a bang for your buck. I promise you'll wear a nude or black pair way more than a pink pair!
