A Very LA Valentines
Valentine's Day came early for Andy and I this year and it was a treat! On Saturday we spent the day having a very LA Valentine's Day: shopping on Rodeo and dinner at the Beverly Wilshire. The Blvd gave us a sneak peek into their Valentine's Day menu and it was incredible; indulgent is an understatement. If you live in LA and don't have plans for tomorrow night then you may or may not want to sneakily send this post to your significant other for a little "inspo" - haha! Or just go ahead and book it for yourself and some gf's. You know my motto? Treat your self!
Scroll down to see scenes from our Vday, favorites from the special menu, and deets on our outfits.
First thing's first: champs! The 4 course Valentine's Day menu comes with a glass of Moet & Chandon rosé, which we can all agree, is the perfect way to start out any romantic meal. You can individually pick your starter and main dish and I suggest you and your partner each get something different so you can taste ALL. THE. THINGS! The Lobster Tart is more like a pot pie of sorts and has delicious chunks of lobster in it. I've never had a Sweet Potato Bisque like the one they served... it is so flavorful, especially with the cinnamon cream on top. Andy got the Black Truffle Risotto and I got the Veal Chop for our mains. First off, presentation... I mean, you know it's going to be amazing when it looks too beautiful to eat! Both dishes really complimented each other, so Andy and I ended up switching back and forth. My mouth is watering just writing this!
Make sure to pace yourselves because the mains are rich and decadent but just wait until you see dessert! We were lucky enough to try all the Valentine's Day desserts including the Heartbreaker. The Heartbreaker is literally an edible heart (the most insane white chocolate) filled with dozens of chocolate truffles inside. The best part is that it comes with a malot that you use to break open the heart. I mean, c'mon, sooo cute! It's hard to pick a favorite because they were all so divine. Give me chocolate truffle anything and I'm in!
Needless to say it was an indulgent experience but holy moly so worth it. The service at Beverly Wilshire is also out of control amazing; you've never seen anything like it. It's really such a 'treat yourself' kind of experience that was so special to share with Andy. Afterward I may have also treated myself to a new Gucci belt. EEK!

It's safe to say we'll probably be spending tomorrow on the couch but this Vday experience was one for the books, plus now Andy can say he bought me flowers for Vday (thanks bouqs)! Wishing you guys a week filled with love.
