Kiini Bikini Vibes

You know that feeling when you find the perfect swimsuit? It’s like finding the perfect bra… how can I get this in 100 different colors/ do I stock up in case they stop making it? That’s how I feel about this KIINI bikini. It’s from last year (now available in tons of colors) and one of those gems I always pack when I go on a tropical getaway. 

Finding a suit made for your body is a PROCESS but after a little trial and error, I think we can all agree that it feels great to know your go-to “style.” The struggle is not letting yearly swim trends steer you in the wrong direction. I love a good one piece or high-waist style (and I still wear them) but when push comes to shove a basic triangle top and skinny side bottom always work for me and flatters my figure best. Keeping this in mind, I’m constantly pursuing ways to spice it up and this crochet beauty hits the mark:

The sizing on this is true to size. If you’re in between sizes, especially on the bottoms, I would size up. Low slung bottoms not your style? KIINI just launched a fuller bottom to compliment their existing tops. Triangle tops not your thing? They have this one shoulder style too! Also this is a bikini that stays put, so it’s good for fun filled days on the beach and most water activities… maybe not water skiing haha.

I wore this during one of our days in Playa Del Carmen- man, the water is gorgeous there!
