Hotel Diary: Edouard 7, Paris
What I would do to be back in Paris right now! After Andy and I got home we both agreed we could absolutely see ourselves living in Paris one day. It's literally what dreams are made of; from the picturesque street corners (literally, EVERY corner) and the quaint cafes to all the history and the overall French vibe. Our first hotel Edouard 7 was perfection - we couldn't have asked for a better location for our first time in Paris.
Location
Eduouard 7 is located in the HEART of Paris on Avenue de l'Opéra right between the The Opera House and the Louvre. And it’s walking distance to Tuileries, Palais Royale, the Dior Exhibit and so much more. It was the PERFECT home base for our first few days in Paris; it felt like we had Paris at our fingertips no matter which direction we walked.
Vibes
The décor is classic with luxe details (I mean our wallpaper was textured velvet flowers and absolutely amazing). I would file Edouard 7 under luxury: bell boys to take your luggage and hail you a cab, concierge service, and beautifully designed interiors. Breakfast is also available every morning and the crepes are incredible! To me, it felt like a place for 30+ couples vacationing in Paris vs. large families or young travelers.
Rooms
Our suite was jaw dropping - from the décor details to the overall size. Not to mention our view was INSANE; we had a wrap around balcony that overlooked the main street. My favorite memory was opening the windows one rainy morning looking out at the gorgeous buildings and drinking my coffee. Tied very closely with the bubble bath I enjoyed while doing work in our gorgeous bathroom. You know the room is good when you don't want to leave it and you're in PARIS!

A + A Faves
The top three things we each loved about Hotel Edouard 7!
Andy
1. View + Sound - I was impressed with the wrap around balcony and even more excited with the double paned glass that cut out all of the sound from the streets. The combo created a great ambiance.
2. Location!
3. Old school elevator was a cool element that we don't typically have in the states; I like details like this!
Ashley
1. Room - everything about it is was luxe but warm and welcoming at the same time. It's like we had our own little apartment in Paris!
2. Location!
3. Concierge - the team at Edouard 7 was extremely helpful with restaurant and museum suggestions. They helped us get front of the line tickets to the Dior museum and within 30 minutes they were in our hands!
Hotel Photo Diary
Thanks Hotel Edouard 7 for having us - it was an absolute dream! Stay tuned, my Paris Travel Diary is coming tomorrow. xo - Ash
From the cotton candy sunsets, the stunning architecture and the cheap as dirt wine (really, a delicious bottle can cost only $4) this city needs to be on your radar and most certainly added to any trip you take to the Coast of Spain.
