La Plage
Did you know I speak French now? Hah, I wish! La Plage means the beach in French and boy do the French know how to beach. One of the stops in our 2 week European adventure (see the first stop here) was in the south of France at the beautiful little town of Antibes. The water is absolutely stunning and the beaches are oh-so-rocky (like OUCH rocky) BUT they're beautiful. One of the days in Antibes we decided to hit up La Siesta Beach Club where we paddle boarded, relaxed, and ate our weight in chicken tenders.
When L*space sent this suit to me before my trip I couldn't wait to wear it. I'm OBSESSED with the dusty rose color and the ribbed details. Also, the cut is so 90s; it's perfect. Keep scrolling for the 411 PLUS the truth about my workout routine during the trip.

I just love the cut of these bottoms SO much that I may need to get them in black, too. Normally I wear an XS bottom and S top in L*Space but for this suit I'm wearing small all around. With high waist bottoms I've found it's kind of hit or miss on TTS because you want them to fit nice but not squeeze at the waist TOO tight. Honestly, not that this is helpful, I could've probably sized down on these but I'm still happy with how the S fit.
During my trip a few DM's came in about my travel workout routine and how I keep fit during my trips. Truth be told, Europe is a totally different beast than any other kind of trip (in a good way) because there is just SO much walking. I'm also 99% sure the food there is just fresher and better for you, so there's that. The food x walking combo was all I needed to keep "fit" while I was away. WE WALKED, you guys, like 5 - 6 miles every day and most of the time it was 90+ degrees, so we also sweat a lot. Not to mention the carrying of luggage to and fro every 3 - 4 days. It was an active trip. I haven't weighed myself since I got back but I actually feel skinnier and like I've lost some muscle. Back to Pilates for me starting tomorrow!
Stay tuned for my Paris Travel Diary, Rome Tips, and more info about our Antibes stay coming in the next few weeks!
From the cotton candy sunsets, the stunning architecture and the cheap as dirt wine (really, a delicious bottle can cost only $4) this city needs to be on your radar and most certainly added to any trip you take to the Coast of Spain.
