A Summer Scent That Brings Me Back

The power of scent is pretty amazing. How many times have you smelled a cologne that has taken you back to high school? All the time... ...and I can instantly picture the high school BF I was head over heels for. For me, scents are not only tied to moments but relationships. Recently, Sephora sent me over the newest fragrance I've been swooning over: Rag+Bone Oddity. As soon as I sprayed it I was instantly taken back to when Andy and I first started dating.

As I mentioned in my recent engagement shoot post the beach holds a special place in our hearts. When we first started dating Andy had recently moved to LA and was enamored by PCH and the beach. We would wake up early almost every Saturday morning (we're talking 7am) and just drive up and down the PCH making pit stops at Zuma or Malibu to layout a blanket and snuggle on the beach. It was just him and I with the morning fog and the sound of seagulls.

Rag + Bone's Oddity is super spicy which I totally associate with passion. It's fair to say there was a ton of passion in the beginning of our relationship (as it happens with most relationships) so something about this scent gives me super sexy beach vibes. If you're in the market for a new scent I definitely recommend it especially if you like something really bold and sexy!
