5 best bright and bold lip colors
When it comes to lipsticks, if it's not bold and bright than I won't even entertain 'em. While it may be a seasonal thing I'm loving it oh-so much! There's nothing like a bright pop of color on the lip to say I'm HERE for long summer days and gorgeous warm weather. During a recent IG Q + A I had a few gals ask my go-to lip color. Honestly there's not just one and they change often. Currently I've been obsessed with 5 formulas and colors (see 'em below). GIVENCHY Le Rouge Liquide in 309 L Interdit. It's a red-orange color (more red) that's SUPER creamy and luxe. The finish is a soft matte that lasts a LONG time and it has Hyaluronic acid which hydrates, smooths, and plumps the lips.
Rimmel Stay Matte in ROSE + SHINE. You guys, I've tried a lot of liquid matte lipsticks in my day and I think this $5 one might be the best. It doesn't get dry and crusty and is perfectly pigmented. I wear their red color a bunch too!
Mark. By Avon Lip Paint in SPARK which is a bright orange color. This dries like a super velvety matte and has great pigmentation. I get compliments EVERY TIME I WEAR IT (it's what I'm wearing in the pics on this post). I'm honestly super bummed it doesn't come in more colors because the formula is amaze.
Lancome L'Absolu Lip Lacquer in Be Bright or Ultra Rose. Lancome sent me a ton of these and I instantly fell in love. This is a GLOSS that has amazing pigment and after a few hours turns into a gorgeous lip stain. I've been wearing out at night and it legit lasts all night long.
Clarins Water Lip Stain - all colors! This summer has been a good one for lip color and formulas like this lip stain. I never knew I needed a lip stain in my life until I was introduced to this. It goes on like water and stains for long lasting wear. My favorite is layering them to create a custom color: I layer pink and orange to create "Ashley coral".
