Fun in the Sun with Olay Fresh Effects Sunscreen
Lately, I’ve been on the go-go-go... even more than normal. On top of that a few trips to New York have turned my sleep schedule upside down (as proven by my 4:30am tweets). Over the weekend I spent some time with my sisters in LA and San Diego and decided to test out Olay Fresh Effects {Soak Up The Sun Protection!} Moisturizing Sunscreen. My skin has taken a toll from the recent lack of sleep and I knew a weekend of playing mom and big sis was only going to make it that much better worse. Here’s a little recap of our weekend and my thoughts on Olay’s new Fresh Effects {Soak Up The Sun Protection!} Lightweight Moisturizing Sunscreen:
1:00pm next stop: shooting for the blog. College sis is my photog most of the time and I’m definitely taking advantage now that we’re in beautiful SD. I re-apply Olay’s moisturizing sunscreen and put on some makeup to shoot 3-4 looks like this one and this one!
5:00pm now back to LA and so grateful for a fun 24 hours with the girls. Tired is an understatement but surprisingly my skin would tell you differently.
If you’re a sleep-deprived busy bee like myself (aren’t we all?) I definitely suggest trying out Olay’s new Fresh Effects {Soak Up The Sun Protection!} Lightweight Moisturizing Sunscreen; definietely keeping it in my purse for any fun-in-the-sun occasion, especially with LA's Endless Summer!
Saturday It’s going to be a busy day and it was somewhat of a late night last night. Aka, I look like a hot mess. I put on Olay Fresh Effects {Soak Up the Sun Protection!} Lightweight Moisturizing Sunscreen under my makeup and head out to pick up sister number 1.
2:00pm Soccer game underway, sitting in direct LA sunlight (it’s 80+ degrees, btw), and grateful that I have sunscreen in my moisturizer. Feeling like a proud sister when my little sister scores a goal!
4:00pm Off to San Diego to visit our other sister who’s a college student at USD! 3 hour drive here we come.
7:00pm Starving college student sister is dying for In-n-out and I’m dying to take a nap. Little sisters always win! Skin still looks surprisingly awake...
9:00pm Sleepover musts: at-home manis, popcorn and a movie. I’m forcing them to watch Now and Then – it’s a CLASSIC!
Sunday planning to have a beach day with the girls then back to Los Angeles
8:00am wake up and get the girls up! We’ve got things to do, there is no time for sleeping in. Going with a no-make face today, just Olay’s Fresh Effects {Soak Up The Sun Protection!} Moisturizing Sunscreen. Literally this stuff is magical – it’s like instant beauty sleep!
10:00am Acaia bowls on the beach is pretty much the best breakfast situation ever!
12:00pm Baby sister in tow (she’s actually 12) and we’re off to AYSO soccer. Yay, for playing soccer mom! A quick check in the review mirror and my face looks surprisingly refreshed. #thankgoodness
